FDS-366T Omni vs FDS-336T Mini

Features wise, does the Omni have anything that the mini is lacking...as in critical features for protection etc.

OmniDrive has 2-stage limiters (rms & peak) which the MiniDrive does not. If you're using amps that are relatively oversized for your drivers, that can be a critical element for both short and long term survival of your boxes.

That's interesting - thanks for alerting me to that Greg. In the Minidrive manual are they referring to something else then for it's "2 Stage Limiters". I know in the minidrive there is only 1 threshold setting PER output CH.

Ref. fds336Tum.pdf PAGE 37

"Each output channel has a dedicated 2 stage limiter that can be set to a threshold anywhere between -10 to +20dBu"
