I'm a sound guy. I know nothing of lights... What do you think are the best LED fixtures that will wash the stage in solid undeniable colour for under 1K each? New? Used? I'm thinking one hung each side as wash and one on the floor shining through the feet of the drummer. With stupid simple control, ON/OFF, colour scroll & solid colour. You know, stuff the band could run...Thanks for your input. Cheers!

How big is the stage?  Are there any other lights involved or just the LED's?  If you're also using high powered conventionals there aren't many LED's that will punch through that.  Why are you limiting it to one per side?  Unless you're on a TINY stage I don't think that will really do the job.  How far are they typically throwing?  How will the lights be rigged?
