Edge blending with Panasonic projectors

Anyone have experience using the built-in blending functions? I'm using D6000s. I'm able to accomplish blending using software but have had no luck with the projector's processing. Panasonic tech support was no help.

I typically only use external hardware/software to do this and don’t use the built in blender on any projector.
