SDI Cable Solid 18ga vs Solid 23ga

Any advantage to one over the other in terms of signal quality.  300' max run.  HD-SDI Video signal.

300' is a fairly long HD-SDI run, you probably want to compare the losses for the specific cables being considered at the bandwidth and distances involved.  You might also want to look at the following:
