RCF recone
« on: January 22, 2012, 02:55:47 AM »

Hi,

I have a blown RCF L18-P200KN.  I am looking for a place to recone it for me; so far, the three places I have found are now all out of business or not returning calls.

I am looking for a good business y'all can recommend, someone with good service and pricing; oh, and returning a call is good too!  ;)

I am in the Bay Area, so the closer the better, but if I have to ship it I will.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Cheers,
Nils

Most RCF re-cones come as a one piece kit i.e no attaching spiders or pole pieces. A perfect time to attempt your first re-cone! It really is very easy with the RCF's. I could even divulge my super secret 5min basket cleaning technique if you like?

Would love to hear it Tom... I may attempt it myself, as speakerrepair.com wants $235 for a recone.
