Just wanted to let everyone know that I ended up going with the Audix OM2 and the gig went great! Thank you so much for all of the help and I hope everyone has a happy new year!

For the drummer, I use an Audix OM5 and a mic cable with a Neutrik NC3FXS-B.

The downstage fixed mics (also OM5s) get Optogates.  I'll buy another for the drummer just as soon as the wife approves the purchase :)
