Anyone know why they offer the d: in skin tones and then lime green?

What I heard was the lime green was initially created just for the advertising, not intended for production. There was enough demand from people wanting the lime green that they were forced to produce it.

Hey, if an artist is using the lime green version there's no mistaking what brand it is. Free advertising!

(That's the rumor, anyway.)

To blend in with Martians.  Little green men, you know...

Little did they know that I make sure to spray paint all my microphones and cables lime green 8). Especially the discreet ones.  I guess I'll talk to them about sponsorship.

On second thought, I think it's to blend in with the skin tones of the rocker that's had waaaay too much to drink and is about to throw up (or pass out).

It may be worth looking at the Sennheiser HSP series.
I have used both the omni and card and they sound good and are easy to wear.
Replaceable cable as well.
Still, not cheap!
