I currently work at a small-time PA company and the guy who runs it is getting more work than he can cope with and i'm happy to take up the slack however my current equipment certainly isn't. I'm looking at getting an entire new rig, i've sorted out all the processing gear i'm getting however as for speakers i can't decide. For tops i'm thinking 4 or 6 VRX932LAP. 4 either RCF 312A's or PRX612M's for foldbacks that can double as speakers for hire for parties and corporate events.
However i can't decide on subs. I was originaly going with VRX918SP's however i have heard they don't sound that great. Then i thought of the SRX718S but they use the same driver. So subs: i'd prefer powered because theyre easier and quicker to setup. I'd like single powered 18's because they are easier to load in and out.
so sub suggestions? by the way i can't get Yorkville or much of Turbosound in Australia
