Flying EV Delta Max
« on: October 24, 2011, 06:02:43 PM »

Hi,

Anyone have any experience rigging and flying the EV dml1152

I have 8 of them and was looking for deployment options.

I have used them 2 per side stacked over subs and am very pleased.

I have a bigger show coming up and wanted to fly them. Should they go 4 wide? or, 2 over 2?
How should the horns orient? Benfits of having all 4 horns in the center?

I may end up stacking them depending on the cost of rigging hardware and lift rental, and time allowed for setup.

It's going to be in an athletic stadium.  Huge place but not a full crowd maybe, 1500 ppl. Probably DJ playing EDM for music. Probably using 6-8 sb1000 for subs.

I have plenty of power for the boxes and am using a DR480.

So anyone have any real world experience?

Bump +

Also any suggestions for lifts? I was thinking of using a pair of genie lifts 1 for each hang.
No truss because of the span length.

Better Ideas? L16? This has to be something I can rent locally. And can't have a massive footprint.
