I guess he is gone now. I just sat down with my popcorn.

I`ve been sitting here in  LOUISIANA waiting on the snow and contemplating that exact question. He was beginning to show signs of both..

By the way just had some guys in my room from up your way.  "Uncle Kracker " was in my room Saturday.

  Hello Scott,

Are you in the New Orleans area?  I used to live there...Kenner... a fine town.

Met Kracker a few times...don't really know him, or much of his Music. Seems as though he's a beer drinking, Michigan boy.

Hope you/Kracker had a good Show.

 Cheers and stay warm,

Shreveport here. Did do some time in Metarie myself. The show was pretty good. Fly date so it  was rented backline etc. I mixed monitors, couldn`t have asked for an easier night. I think your correct, they can put back  a few beers.

well my drums alone take up a 10x11 foot area. we rent a space about 15x25. i have never ben in a band rehersal where we used monitors. i have always had the guitar/bass players use there 100+ watt single stacks aimed at me and we all here each other just fine. we use a monitor speaker for the vocals and its out in front of me and i do the singing. when we want to hear how we sound at rehersal i set up 4 cheap mics in the room plugged into the little pracitce board and record on a nakamichi mr1 tape deck. i have seen bands rehearse with pa's and monitors and i think thats overkill unless your on a really big sounstage in a real big room. i have seen bands do like we do and use a cabnet or 2 for the vocals only. i dont push my voice in rehersal unless its a new song. one thing you could try and i have done is have everyone wear headphones. pointing the instrument amps toward the drums has always worked best in rehersal for everyone. NOTICE > this reply was done b 4 my " i wasted a reply but is not above my last reply but below it and throws the entire sequence of my replys out of order !
