How about that abuse of auto-tune?  I really wish no one had ever thought of that.  God help me if I'm ever required to mix a show with it.

 Hello,

There were no auto pitch correction systems used by the BEPs. If there were, will i. am and Fergie wouldn't have gone flat.

Fergie was flat because her in-ears wasn't working properly....I'm guessing the same for will i. am.

I hear he's a pretty good musician.

 Cheers,
 Hammer

I believe he was talking about the use of autotune for artistic purposes and not pitch correction.

There was definitely some kind of pitch effect being used and it certainly sounded like auto-tune to me. But Hammer's right, it seemed as if it was only used in certain places more as an obvious effect and not as a subtle correction.

I was referring to auto-tune used as an effect, but I don't see how you would know if it was also used to correct pitch since you're only hearing the broadcast and not the original source.  The only times I noted performers were truly off-pitch was during the sections where auto-tune was not present.
