Thank you labrats
« on: January 12, 2011, 12:59:07 am »

For the last year or 2 I have been fairly absent from posting, but I have used this forum for 10+ years. I have used this forum to vent frustrations, to learn about new products and innovative ideas, to share my knowledge and experience with those who could use it, and learn from others' mistakes to hopefully avoid making them myself. But most of all I have made a lot of good friends here. The type of forum software used changes and some love it, some hate it, but it's the people who use it that validates anything on it.

When I woke up this morning I was pretty sure I was just going to walk away from participating on PSW because of the new forum software being ugly, hard to use, and devoid of any of the threads from the last 7 years, or the 20 or so prior to that. Also the way it is being implemented is less than stellar in my opinion. The "resistance is futile" approach that PSW/LSI/whatever they are called these days rubs me the wrong way personally and while I can't guarantee that I will never post again, the likelihood of that happening is very slim.

So I am here today to thank everyone I have interacted with on PSW and in real life. You have helped me in ways only people like us could possibly understand. You've been there through my personal highs and lows, you've listened to what I had to say, you've told me what I needed to hear especially when I didn't want to hear it, and you've put up with all my bullshit. And for that...THANK YOU.

If anyone wants to keep in contact with me, and I certainly hope that you do. I will leave you with the pertinent information:
