Presumably the PA system is somewhat important.

having one, yeah.  but which one, i think not so much...

other than making for a long difficult day or short and pleasant one, the exact makeup of components in my pa for the day would rank about number 8 on my hit parade of most important things...

good coffee?  at least 5 spots higher...

I was sound designer for a celebrity impostor show, and a cast member's mom was on the road with us.  With Mama on the tour, we could have cast members with kids (she'd baby sit for a fee), plus she'd prepare an after-show meal for cast & crew that pitched in a couple dollars.  I wish I could remember her name, she was an incredible person.

I discourage wives, girlfriends, husbands, boyfriends, "significant others" of any gender, barnyard animals or domesticated pets from being brought to work.  Yeah, I'm a fuckin' kill-joy.

Have fun, good luck.
