Source of (hopfully free) sound bites
« on: January 05, 2011, 01:44:24 PM »

Hi all.

I'm looking to get a hold of some loops of snare and bass drum as well as some acapelly dry vocals.

Doesn't matter what it is, I'm looking to try out some outboard without bothering a muso.

Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks,

Kristian.

if you have Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill CD, the You Oughta Know Alternate take has her vocal only starting at 5:14 into the track.

I can whip up a quick couple of loops - home sick today. Do you want stereo, or ind. tracks of kick and snare - rock, pop, fast, slow?

Wow, Ned, that's so kind of you!  And fast!

If I could get a hold of bass drum and snare separate that would be great.  Kinda slow pace, like when you ask the drummer "to beat the middle tam during souncheck for setting gates-tempo.

Quality, stereo, etc really bears no consequence, just as simple as possible is fine.  Just want to listen to some fx and inserts.

Get well soon!

Just sent an email to your listed email address with the link to the file. Hope it helps. Sorry for the delay - went out to ramen to get lots of garlic, broth, and pickled ginger to feel better.

Ned.

Thank you so much for taking for being kind enough to take the time to make this, that is exactly what I was looking for!

Best regards and get-well wishes, that stuff should do the trick (and keep the kisses away  Confused ).
