lab vs dbh

(1/3) > >>

Berti Jacobs:
Hello all,

Is this correct? does 1 dbh218 generate more spl than a block
of 4 labsubs!!

LAB:
8 units flown / 4 units ground stacked
SPL is 146-146.5 dB, ripples are very small, about 1/4 dB peak to peak.
-3@ 28 Hz, -3@ 140 Hz
80 Hz and below, efficiency is about 42%.

DBH 218:
147 dB 112 dB 34 Hz – 300 Hz 7,200 W 45 x 45 x 22.5 277 lbs

Bertie

Silas Pradetto:
The DBH does look like it will beat 2 LABs; I'm seeing about getting a demo to confirm this. If it does, bye-bye LABs for me!

I have heard some crazy high praise for the DBH-218's so far from several people, (compared to some of Danley's other subs, no less) so it seems like it could really be worth it. It would be awesome to get to hear them someday...

Brandon G Romanowski:
I would be interested to hear more about these subs. I have been looking at Danley's website and all his subwoofers seem to spec out really well, yet I have never heard of anyone using them for large scale mobile concert systems.
