...2. Type telnet (enter)
3. Type o (enter)
4. Type towel.blinkenlights.nl (enter)
5. Sit back, enjoy the show.

Funny, someone showed me this Monday. Works in windows as well.

Start > Run > CMD > Same steps as above.

Good call. The machines I usually use to telnet to devices have always run XP. Never had a use for telnet on my home desktop that runs 7...

I remember bulletin board ASCII art, but wow, this is crazy.  Has anyone watched the whole thing to the end?

it doesn't actually make it that far. I watched it till the end one day a few months back.

You get more options if you have IPv6 also. which i unfortunately don't Sad

Amusingly, there's a plugin to VLC that will convert any movie to ASCII art.

I let it play in the background, it makes it until Luke busts into Lea's cell and she says "You look a little short for a storm trooper"..... or some thing like that.
