camera lensing

I need some lens help: need a new hd cam for my theater front of house feed. Camera position is house center 50ft distant from a 43 ft wide proscenium. Will a camera lens with an equivalent 35mm focal length of 40.8mm frame the entire width of the proscenium? Thanks
