FS: Diversitronics 3000 DMX strobes
« on: November 30, 2010, 02:20:08 PM »

I have 13 Diversitronics 3000 DMX strobes for sale. At least 8 are 100% functional, I think 2 fixtures are bad, and 3 need lamps. These are 208/240 volt ONLY, these are the REAL DEAL strobes. They overpower the sun when used outside on a nice summer day. They'll give a Martin Atomic 3000 a run for it's money.

They're 2-channel DMX, with channels primarily brightness and strobe speed. They have special features such as arc weld, blasts, fades, and all kinds of neat features if you bump the channels at various DMX values.

Two run nicely on a 20 amp 240 volt supply, three will trip the breaker easily. They are all currently outfitted with Powercons.

Sorry - I had to burst out in evil laughter at the thought of these 13 strobes being used together....

...maybe I should get more sleep...

I have to say, I've used 11 together, and it's quite ridiculously impressive. Peak current draw on the distro well over 200 amps per leg when the strobes hit, when the average is about 50 amps per leg with the strobes off.

I've literally stalled a 110kVA genny with these strobes.

Also I should mention they are 5-pin DMX and have 3 clamp mounting points each. I'm getting pictures soon.
