Yup Chuck - that is one thing I would really miss - Can the Eventide and PC80 be patched into the LS9-32 ? as an aux and return to channels ????

People are always so how nice the reverbs are in the LS9 but those may be people show have not owned the tow pieces I have......and I kinda like me ya know

Yes. You patch an aux send out of an omni out, and return the FX to input channels just as you do with your analog set up. The only limitation is that you have a fixed number of omni outs (12 I think). To exceed that number of total outputs you will need to add an MY card of some type.

While the Yamaha FX will not match the Eventide and Lexicon, the dynamics will be far better than the Presonus, and probably comparable to the dbx.

Does the LS9 have stereo in/out SPDIF like the 01V boards?  Many reverb units have this, as well Smile

Since it is the safety ground connection for use when the electrical outlet is not grounded, you are correct. It is a knurled knob with a phillips head as well.

Thank you for taking the time to find a graphic.  I would have been more than satisfied with a simple "yes", as well Smile

I have an LS9-32 in a Sound Productions case that has a removable dog house/tray and I like the case.

Case Link: http://www.soundpro.com/bwtopmenu/38-boardwalkcat/224-ls9cas e

I moved from the 01V96+8pre to an LS9-32 and my 01v96 hasn't came out to play since.

I'm using: EV QRx212 over JBL SRX718s(2) with Crown IT's and MRX512m & MRX525 on monitors with XTi's; all controlled by Yamaha LS9-32.  I have a bunch of other stuff too.

If you can get $6,000 for your current FOH setup take it and RUN! I would be lucking to get that for my Soundcraft MH3-48 that was once for $18,000!

I'm intrigued by this... exactly what kind of money are you guys making that justifies a ~$6500 mixer, part time, and what is the return rate?

I know some are doing gigs at bar level or just above it, or maybe festivals and one-of touring acts, after all this is the lounge.

Im trying to wrap my head around justifying a LS9-32 (and more) at $250/gig...

He already said he has a good day gig and he likes his toys, I resemble that remark  Smile

Patrick I love mine! Ease of setup is great but I am still not as fast around it as I was with an analog board

Foh is so neat and so fast and frankly, while I am sure your effects are very good, will most people notice it?? I do not think so.
