I actually attended his bankruptcy auction, and bought one of his Sound technology distortion analyzers, but somebody ended up buying the whole corporate remains intact with a single higher bid than the entire auction raised.
I got a clue that it was a bad idea to name my company Roberts after seeing an old Roberts tape recorder and thinking ew... The music industry is full of examples of people losing control of their own name. Often they don't leave the industry, or make the same mistake twice, (mainly because they can't).
I won't bother to list examples.

PS: That said I've been known to nickname stuff Johnny____, like my world famous Johnny Beer.
