Waves C6 Review
« on: October 06, 2010, 07:18:35 PM »

I just recently purchased the Waves C6 MultiBand compressor for our Digidesign SC48 console.

The review is on my blog at:

So let me know what you guys think and I would love to hear some feedback from other users.

I have used the C4 a lot in the recording world, and would love to use the C6 on Venue but the barrier for entry as with most Waves plugins in general has been the cost.  At around $600 it's just a little above my spending threshold for a plugin.  Owning all of the good plugins can almost cost as much as the console!

I've found the C4 particularly useful in the scenarios you mention - drums and vocals.  The couple of extra bands added by the C6 would be nice.  Enjoy.
