Digital Snake on M-400
« on: October 08, 2010, 12:26:56 PM »

Although I have been doing live sound for more years than I care to think about, I am completely clueless when it come to digital mixing but it is something I am trying to educate myself on.

So, please excuse my ignorance on the subjuect, but could someone explain how the digital snake on the Roland M-400 works.
Does it require an additional stage box with an A/D convertor or is that included with the M-400.

You should download the Vmixing brochure or the M-400 owners manual.  There are system diagrams that should make it pretty clear how it works.  If there are still some questions then refresh this thread and we'll discuss them.
