Looks like a OA Windsor to me.

Personally I love the powercon connector. For inlets on equipment I would much prefer them of a IEC connector, even a locking one. L15-20's are expensive, chunky, and uncommon and 5-15 edisons are to easy to pull apart on accident.

This is also a fantastic idea, particularly if you're running powered wedges with powercon inputs (Meyer UM-1P's for example):

Where did the boxes come from? I like them.

As mentioned, they are OA Windsor.

Ken at OA Windsor is a very helpful guy and makes a killer product. I built a few stringers and singles with their rubber boxes.

I am prototyping a stage monitor stringer (NL8 in and through, with NL4 outlets) with his assistance. I will document the result after the fall when I get some extra time.

So does that mean that Speakon connectors are awful as well? It's the same concept.

Neutrik specifically says, speakON is NOT to be used as an AC mains connector!   http://www.neutrik.com/us/en/audio/210_1380446656/NLT4FX-BAG _detailtechnical.aspx?title=NLT4FX-BAG

When dealing with 120v AC 15 or 20 Amp

Many people make the comparison  between a .59 cent Home Depot Duplex Receptacle and something "Locking".

The same is true for IEC connectors.

I use Hospital Grade Plugs, Receptacle, and Switches,(Also sold by some Home Depots) they cost about 10 times more then the cheap stuff, However they stay put when you plug things in ( and last a long time).

If someone trips over or gets something hooked on a cable, the last thing I want
is a small piece of plastic sticking out 4 or more inches, waiting to be snapped off.

If Edison plugs and Receptacles are loose or falling out, Replace them with good quality parts.

The same can be said for IEC Plugs and Receptacles.

I carry a few spares, but its nice to know replacements are close by.

I have gone to venues that a wall outlet has been broken , $6.00 and 5 minutes later, Power.

Just my opinions on keeping it simple.

Where in my post did I say anything about using Speakon for A/C?

I wish the QSC K series had the power cons on them so I could build my own power cords for them,  the ones they send really suck to hide on stage when they are used as monitors, they will not coil or lay down with out gaff tape.

I took the bonus Euro Ac cables that came with my K series,
cut them off at 2', and put Edisons on them.
I use multiple output stringers and only need short runs for mons.

I still would love to see QSC start using decent cable, though.
That pre-kinked stuff is awful.

I use mine to make an edison Y to one long and one short locking IEC so that my front stringer can supply power to 2 wedges up front.
