Yikes - looks like a KeelePerkinsVoiceoftheTheatre with added sizzle. Gotta be custom bins. All they need is a Westrex snailhorn emerging from them somewhere and you'd have complete prehistory of sound reinforcement covered. Would love to hear them in full song. Those were the days!.

They could be JBL but I doubt it. I don't think I've ever seen handles of that type used on a JBL cabinet and I know I've never seen casters of that type come out of JBL. But, just like Gibson they've been known to make one of everything. If you can open the cabinet check the drivers and search for the driver on JBLs support site. Doing so will bring up every model box they have made with that driver installed in it. Or, use the link below and try to find it yourself.

I'd agree with others that the boxes are probably not JBL.

They look quite similar to some JBL boxes flown in a club I used to mix at... The ones I ran into came from an OLD movie theater in town.

The LF and HF were in separate boxes, bolted together with a flange... All crossover connections were on the outside, with binding posts.

Off topic, but the same club has an old A&H 40ch board with VU meters on the bridge. I think they call it "legacy" gear.  Laughing
