Weird forum behavior
« on: June 18, 2010, 01:47:55 PM »

When I navigate to certain (random) pages on the lab, something is downloading a file to my desktop. I can't seem to reproduce it at will, but it's happening pretty regularly. Here's a screen cap of the file.

index.php/fa/30870/0/

If you'd like me to I'll keep one of these files and send it to ya. But as of now, I just keep deleting them.

Mac powerbook, OS 10.4.11 running Safari 4.0.3

Thanks,
-=Tim=-

Tim,
It's a refrral to a link or web site that has not loaded completely. The site is actually mikle.com and it appears to be the site that refers the advertizing links to you from PSW.

Follow the link below and see if you an follow the links you find. If not then your browser is blocking content. If that is the case try starting with the default settings and work from there.

Bob is right. mikle.com provides the rss feed for our in-house headlines & features in the left sidebar, marked as "FeedWind."

Good to be cautious about external feeds, but rest assured, no malware or other undesirable activity is going on.

Alright, Thanks Ya'll.

I checked my updater and there was a new version of Safari out so I updated and it seems to have fixed the problem.

Thx!
