I’m getting this peculiar flag when I try to add a hyperlink to my signature. Why is it flagging 210 characters if the limit is 256?

If you enter a sig--of any length--and then click the "check signature length" button, it will tell you how many characters you've used, as well as stating the max number (256). Then you have to do the math to determine how many characters over or under you are. I think this is what you're seeing.
