Some of my smaller gigs have no speakers in cases and since all the speakers are powered there are no amp racks, so Im looking for a small portable FOH table.  3ft by 2ft?  projecto stand is too small.

That being said (and before I ever considered working there), my parents bought a couple of these tables.  They've had them for a few years now and they've been very stable and durable.  We've mainly used the tables for outdoor cookouts and for holding heavy catering-style trays, etc.

The only thing you might also want to look into is a toolcase/table combo, such as this offering from Audiopile.  You could store your mics, cables, etc. in there and just roll it in to the venue.

I have a couple of those tables too but I bought em at my local warehouse store. They work fine though the are white and slippery.

I have a piece of toolbox drawer liner I keep in each mixer case to put down before the mixer so it doesn't slide around.

I also skirt the table after wiring it up.

Oh, the ones I bought have adjustments that let the table be at three different heights. Handy!

Ive been looking at the audiopile box tho its weight turns me off.  This is for the smallest rig and Im trying to keep it light and easy for one guy.  I thought about removing 2 drawers and putting a pair of k12 in the bottom but I didnt get an answer if that will fit.  Thanks for the options, keep em coming.

I got some of the 2x4s from from Sams Club for 30 each. They are the Lifetime brand and they have no problem with a 80 lb speaker sitting on them. The newer ones have adjustable height.

couple of ideas...

I have a VIKA brand worktable which is very sturdy but has slanted legs and is only 18" deep.

This one however is a DJ table that meets your criteria I think with the exception of being 3 inches shy of your 24" spec.

An eBay search for "DJ table" yields a number of folding tables, many adjustable for height (a hot button for me). Some even look worth owning.

I just started to work for the Big Orange Box part time myself. Another item of interest we recently got in is a 10 pack of small Brinkman 6LED flashlights for 10 bucks inc. batteries. They're pretty nice and very bright.

I made a couple of simple tables for myself a while ago.

I just had a couple of 2'x 4' pieces of plywood laying around - painted them flat black, and put a set of folding metal legs from Home Depot on them.

They do the job just fine.
