WOW  very nice!!

Phil I love the fact that you painted the outlet boxes!!!

Thanks Joe   Smile

I knew I needed some way to easily power the amps while not going as far as a mounted distro.  Plus I wanted to be able to split them up onto 2 circuits.

It just kinda worked well out of dumb luck because the EWI rack I had had a bolt at that perfect height on each side that could be unscrewed and then be used to bolt each quad to each side.

Thanks,
Phil

I'll challenge anyone to an OCD rack-wiring battle.

That looks awesome.  I'd love to hear all those GX amps running.  I've got a GX3 I use to power two small Yamahas all the time.  I love it.  Man, thats a lot of GX5's.  I'm super curious how you use them.

The 2 in the 4-space rack are for 4 monitor mixes, pushing 4-5 CM12V's. The one in the rack with the PLX3102 and the connection panel is for the mains, the PLX runs a pair of SRX718's. If I need a bigger amp for mains I'll pull the GX5 and replace it with a PLX3602... But that hasn't happened yet. Great amps.

Here are my racks for my Meyer setup.

FOH is all the way to the left.  Monitors are in the middle.
I set this up to run a pair of UPA's per side in stereo over a 1ea 650 sub per side.  And four independent UM-1C monitor mixes.  I've been doing mostly Acoustic gigs as of late so I am going to reorganize what I need into one rack.

The post you replied to was not Phil's, it was Brad's. Could people please reply to the right post. I spent about 5 min looking for painted boxes on Brad's pic before I realised there weren't any...

There isn't a single GX3 amp in the picture in the post you replied to. Why can't people just reply to the right post?

He never said there was a GX3 in my pic. He said he has a GX3, and that I have a bunch of GX5's.

OK. Let me rephrase that. There isn't a single GX amp in the pic he replied to, only PLX2 amps.
