Where did you get the rack kit for the edison box? I need something like that for a snake box to rack mount it. I'd like to inset it into the rack a little to make more room for the lid.

We've always just mounted the quad boxes to the the sides of the racks to keep them out of the way. Then again all of ours flip up on the back panel when transporting.

Probably has more to do with the fact that they are loaded down to the point where the back panel is full of NL8s for tops and NL4s for subs and a ton of fans plus the twist locks for power though.

I'm more interested in mounting a snake box to some rack rails. It'll be tricky for sure but with the right parts not so bad.

Im not sure what they are called, but I would check some of the electrical supply stores in your area. I know that they are used for mounting all types of elec boxes in stud walls. The brackets have two seperate parts that slide into one another so that they are adjustable for different stud spacing. The tabs you see on the sides actually fold down flat, so you can adjust them as well.

This is my FOH rack. 01v96VCM, ADA8000, DEQ2496 and a feedback destroyer I never use..

I tried to find the smallest rack possible. Only problem is that I have to connect and disconnect the ADAT cables and powercable on the 01v96 because it is REALLY thight..

I also have modified my ADA8000 so it`s inputs and outputs are on the backside patchpanel.

I made a powerbox today so I only need one powercable to power the whole rack.
