Z-Bars in Australia???
« on: March 09, 2010, 10:04:39 PM »

Hi people,

I'm on a search for a few z-bars in Australia.
I can't find them anywhere here and when I find them somewhere on the net they won't ship here.

Any ideas? I'm only really after 4.

Cheers.

Matt,
The term "Z bars" is a bit generic. Do you mean the microphone mounting item for say a guitar speaker box or do you mean the Z bars that are used for speaker installation to position it in its perferred location? I have heard both here.

If you are looking for the mic mounts, just go to your local hardware store and pick up some aluminum bar. It doesn't take much to build the things.

I thought this thread was about drugs.

Sorry about that I meant the Z Right Stuff microphone Z-bars (that's a bit of a twister).
I did think of making them but I don't quite have the tools and I found the real things only cost about $20 US.

I've seen touring bands with them but not much else.

Try giving Almost Anything Audio a call.
While I couldn't see Z bars on their (very simple) website,
I've found them to be very helpful and able to locate things that I couldnt find elsewhere.

free call 1300-888-468
info@anythingaudio.com.au

Their service has been exceptional as far as I'm concerned.
(less than 24 hours delivery interstate some times !)
