Field Covering suppliers
« on: February 18, 2010, 12:46:42 AM »

Does anybody have first hand experience working with any of the major grass field covering providers in north america. I have a event coming up where we will be placing production on sensitive grass, and we have bids from Teraplas, Event Deck and Infield systems. Are there any other providers of similar serivces? Is there really any big difference between the comparable products between the various vendors?

http://www.mountainproductions.com/

We use Mountain for staging and other infrastructure regularly, which includes interlocking "Bravo" ground cover. Although they are in Central PA, they work nationally.
I can't comment on other vendor's products or service as I have not used them, but we have had no issues in the minor league ballpark that we have used it for quite a few times, nor were there any issues when we used it on the fairways (not the greens!) of a golfcourse. The product handles vehicular traffic with no problem.
