Where's the snow ?  Twisted Evil

Maybe the audience area is situated in such way, that justifies the specific setup of very narrow vertical dispersion sound reinforcement loudspeakers ....

... On a second thought ...

Perhaps those are the subs, and they're using them as a cardiod deployment?

They look like the Outline Butterfly units, but not quite, as you can see some semi circle shapes on their grills, plus their subs don't have this "V" shape.

So, if I conclude that they are someone's copycat in a sub, I'm good in my speculation. ;>)

Okay, time to go finish my coffee.

01 is often used to indicate a minimum to maximum quantity of a given item between 10 and 99. Therefore it is likely that the quantity of those shelves is within that range.

for such an app, like many short "lines" the midbass is a bit too thin.

These ones are three of in total 120 LS8 Line Source Systems by NORTON Audio. These two are just part of the delay line in Rio de Janeiro's Sambadrome this year. That's why it looks so funny. But the sound is gorgeous!
NORTON Audio is quite successful in Brasil, Portugal and Spain [you can find their name on different major tour riders dedicated to these countries].
More Infos: http://www.nortonaudio.de/?page_id=130 (sorry, only in German, cannot find another description)
The news about the Sambadrom can be found here: <a> href="http://www.nortonaudio.de/?page_id=130" </a> (sorry, also in German)
The attached photo shows another delay line in Rock in Rio / Spain 2009.index.php/fa/28060/0/

OK, I figured it was for Carnival in Rio.

I didn't ask for Norton Audio a advertisement though.  Rolling Eyes
