dvd/cd duplicators...
« on: March 10, 2005, 12:53:43 AM »

Hey guys,

More questions. What dvd/cd duplicators are people using? We're finally moving to CD copies of sermons as oppossed to tapes. Believe it or not even the seniors are asking for CD's, you know you're a little behind the times when the seniors ask for it  Very Happy

Anyhow, it seems like there's a million different companies making these things and I want to find out which ones are good and are going to last. I'm a little skeptical about warranty support if the unit goes down so if there's any Canadians here that have purchased them in the Toronto area I'd love to hear from you as I'd prefer not to order in from the US.

Thanks a bunch,
JR

Hi JR
My name is Trevor Belec, and I work for Yake Engineered Systems based out of Kitchener, Ontario, not so far away from Toronto. We are a professional audio company, that deal almost strictly with the church market, and have done numerous(over 400) churches in the GTA, and all over Ontario, and the even down into maritimes. I can easily supply you with current Canadian pricing on a duplicator, did you have something particular in mind? One line that we have been quite happy with is the Telex line, they have been a fairly solid since back in the old days of the cassette tape...  Laughing
We carry a number of different lines, including the old faithfuls like Tascam and Teac.
Let me know if you are interested in some more info...
Thanks,
Trevor Belec

Hey Trevor,

Ya you're sounding like music to my ears. Right now I've priced out a Telex 7 bay DVD (16x)/CD (40x) duplicator with an 80GB harddrive for $2625 CAN and blank inkjet printable CDs for 39

This isn't probably what JR is looking for but does anyone know
anything about a recorder cd duplicator that I heard about a few weeks back.  It records a stereo pair and duplicates maybe 16 C.D's at a crack or something like that ($500.00).  That's all I have for details on it, just curious.

Later Reggie

Telex is the best duplicator company out there today. We recently bought there dvd copier/printer and it works wonderfully. We also have several of their cd duplicating towers. Check them out at
