Note the highlighter pen "steering" this mess..

It looks like the sub on the bottom left "was" a scope and they turned it into a ported box. Maybe some new kind of Tapped Horn...... Rolling Eyes

Edit: The more I look at it the more it could have been a double 18 that was turned into a single 18. Maybe get more box volume to better work with the new driver?

Not a website but a festival I played a couple of years back.

I think you could actually make this usable, for rock.

Center cluster the 4 Peavey 18s.

Keep a mid bass horn and 15 w/90 horn on each side of the stage - aimed straight out.

Splay the 15" w/60' horn out to the sides for coverage, and be creative with the JBL horn subs, or ditch them.

Some DSP work would def be needed too...

Wow... I've actually worked in this room!  It's been a few years and I don't remember the name of the place, maybe one of the Rhode Island guys will recognize it as I believe it's down that way... and that photo must have been taken while standing against the back wall... tiny little place...

That rig is well before my time there... LA460 over LA400 was plenty in the early 2000's for club rock...

Or you could ditch everything but one sub and one top.   Judging by the monster crowd (two photographers), I think it would suffice.

I hate to ask, but without knowing how the subs, mids, and tops are crossed, what is wrong with this?  I "wish" I had this setup!

Does that truss look to be  sagging a bit.

Well if the guy unloaded the trailer it looks like a few gigs I did as a kid where we loaded all we had  into the truck or trailer, normally an open pickup and hooked it all up.  Thank god for peavey in those days as it would put up with most of our best mistakes Laughing

Remember the days when we where just as excited about setting up the gear, the more the better??  Now we want it to fit in a Yugo and weigh 6 lbs because we have no backs left Rolling Eyes and put out 128 db Shocked

some of these things are just like the times we all survived going way to fast in a car. When where young and bullet proof Laughing

In new england, we had a pretty huge rig for the the time, Double 18's by Ken F. A 9 inch hard dome midrange driver with a EV white horn on top of that finished with a Heil UHF driver and We NEVER put a strap on it!  Fools that we where. Smile  I wish I had some pictures.

Does any one remember the peavey Festival series amps??? I had 4 of them at one time  Laughing

Man, that's just beautiful, isn't it?! This one gets my vote! The single front loaded horn subs towards the center DOES make a great riser for the end guys monitors! I wonder if it's hooked in? WTF am I thinking...of course it is!
