Well, that link has some fact but is mostly drivel. To simplify matters, if your entire rig is supplied by a single church receptacle, the voltage you feel is from the ground on that receptacle, through your IEM to your ear and then to what you are standing on or holding that is grounded somewhere else. If you are completely isolated (say by holding nothing and jumping in the air) you should feel nothing.

Obtain an audio transformer (or two). Add appropriate connectors. Insert between audio output and earphones.
