Anyone produce a "Family Fued" type live show?
« on: October 28, 2009, 10:16:52 PM »

I've got a client who is looking to add a "Family Fued" type of element to a live event that I've helped them with over the last few years.

Anyone here done this sort of thing?

Got any ideas on a software package that would work well for handling the cues on the projector?  I imagine if I wrote it right, I could use something like QLab, with a key to allow the realtime interaction of the contestants.

Thanks in advance,
David

Check some of the higher-end DJs in your area. There are popular "Game Show" packages that many DJs supply as part of their services, and they already have a Family Feud-style game complete with video feed for projection, podiums, buzzers, etc.

I have seen several of these, made from powerpoint, if you just search "Family feud powerpoint" You will be able to find something. as far as the "lockout controllers" you can make them, rent them ( try a large inflatable/casino night/ type co or a DJ, or buy them. depending on how sophisticated you want
