Creating stereo file when bouncing stereo track from DAW
« on: May 03, 2005, 11:46:32 AM »

Hi
Whenever I bounce a stereo track from my DAW it creates 2 mono files. How can i combine these two into one file that i can burn to cd? This is confusing. the options when bouncing are mono separated or mono separated with 3.5dB attenuation. Is there a way to make the 2 files one?

Thanks
-Brian

What software do you use?  I'm a Logic guy, and in my bounce options, there is a drop down menu which you can choose from split stereo or a combined stereo track, as well as surround options.  Hope that helps.  Regardless of which software you use, it's going to be somewhere in a preferences menu of some kind.
