Analog Way Graphic Switcher

So...you can get these older units for a song.  They are fully seamless switchers but take RGB (VGA) inputs only.  So has anyone had any luck using these units with a couple of external scalers to connect video sources as well as computer sources?

It looks like I could configure a fully seamless solution for under 1000 dollars going this route.

Sure, add 5 Folsom Imagepro HD's and you could switch anything with it.

I was thinking more like having 2 extron DCS150s...that I can find used for 150 each.

Then I would have 2 video inputs and 4 RGB inputs...which would be perfect...

Then, you should be fine. I went after the Extron 408's at the time the 611 was out. Know that the scalars all have a bit of delay...
