Can we assume that the DJ wasn't actually speaking, but that would be the monitor bleed-thru on the DJ vox?

What a bandwidth shame.  There are so many ways to make even a douche bag DJ sound good. Without just limiting the piss out of it.

Not when he varies his level 20dB between tracks. I dialed in the attack and release until it didn't suck too much, but this was a corporate event and he had no business breaking 100 dB on the floor.

Yes, that is just bleed from his mic... SM58 with 25dB gain.

On my monitor, I could see as far down the image as the pegged input meters but no further without scrolling.
Is it sad that I guessed they would be DJ channels before I even saw the labelling?  Rolling Eyes
