New Plasma bulb fixtures
« on: August 04, 2009, 03:33:53 PM »

Has anyone played with fixtures based on plasma bulbs yet?  What fixtures are out there and their ball park prices?

So far, the Robe Robin 300 Plasma Spot is the only fixture that I've seen.  It looks like a really wild and efficient technology to use for stage lighting.

they look interesting, whats the price like on the bulbs though, and how easy are they to get?

i know 10k hours is a while, but they're still going to wear out eventually
