CO2 Cannon jet questions
« on: August 03, 2009, 10:35:25 am »

I am trying to find a way to simulate flames but without the use of any kind of pyro. I have been looking into these CO2 jets most of which seem to be sold in the UK. Does anyone know about these things below are some questions and concerns I have because I have no idea about these and would like to know more.

Looking for something:
DMX controled
120V
not too costly

My questions:
Are they safe?
Are there any US companies that sell these?
What are the draw backs?

I hope I posted in the right forum would assume some lighting guys would have experience with something.

Thanks

I got pricing from The Effects Company, the guys that make the COJet mover. A complete 2 head system (including controllers and nozzles and such, but not including hoses and manifolds) came in at a little over 10,500.00

AmericanDJ makes a moving head fogger.. I thought I might try that out first. Smile
