Well according to the ODEP not lighted (from what I could tell) on your bottom Macrotech and the indicators on the OV1...that would appear to be about as wide ass open as it could get.   I bet you had a headache.

What were you running for amps/speakers?  Oh,  and what is your compression/limiting scheme?  I could not tell what you were zooming in on under the mixer.

I have learned in my life:

-Pretty girls don't stay single long
- KF 850s  over SB 1000s per side was designed to be a percussion instrument rather than a "soundpretty thing".

Raves the most demanding Show?  Indulging in too much of the Ex yourself? Come-onnnn..... Raves are just a DJ rig with Racks and Stacks... no real challege there... the attendee's don't even care if it's a good sounding system, as long as it's LOUD and Thumping.

A single podium mic and AV playback with 4000 people in attendance can be a very demanding show.

Thats true, I heard a XYON rig at a rave this past weekend.  The PA sucked but it looked like people were enjoying it.  At least the SoundBridge subs don't suck...

Especially when the guy at the podium only gets within the pickup pattern of the mic to ask you to turn it up or to complain that it's not working.......when he's standing four feet away. Rolling Eyes

Live TV broadcast. There is nothing else that comes close. Any event you think is the hardest, put it on live TV.

Mad band moms are the worse for me.

We're doing a show in a fairly large church (1000+ cap.). Me and the band mom are up in the balcony at the board with her spoiled kids screaming up at us for more monitor. She turns the monitors up to clipping and they still "can't hear a thing".

Then a beaker somewhere blows and the whole system goes dead. And she yells at the band for telling her to turn it up and starts blaming the whole thing on them! WTF? She's the one who turned it up and blew it in the first place!

I'm standing there(there was nowhere to hide) taking it all in vowing never to work with these people...
