LCD TVs
« on: June 30, 2009, 02:05:04 AM »

What are you guys using for onstage confidence monitors?  Looking for something like a 32" LCD with a stand on it that will allow it to tilt back more than the conventional stands...

Usually 30"-40" range of Plasma or LCD displays, using a Guitar Amp stand similar to this:

This is something I like, although more times than not I end up having something built for the occasion now.

There is another company that offers an even more low-profile version, but I forget at the moment.

Not cheap however.

Display devices makes a confidence monitor cart.

Dalite has a couple including a motorized one with remote.

Hahaha, not my clients per se, clients of the major AV solutions provider that I work for, that has tons of those in the rental inventory.  As long as they can see there PowerPoint, that all they seem to care about.

Display Devices is exactly who I forgot about.

I didn't know about the dalite solution, but I like it.

We use proper plasma foldback stands although the guitar combo amp stand is a great ideaas seen here:  when you have a stage 2' - 3' high. You can adjust the angle of the foldback stand : http://www.bigcity.net.au/plasma/plasma_02.htm
