Hi,I recently purchased 4 yorkville ls608 subs in January and have been VERY happy with their performance.However,we are already covering bigger shows and a larger rig is now needed.I would prefer to stick with Yorkville as I feel they provide the best "bang for buck" and their service backup has been outstanding.

Larger rig options:
1. Buy 4 more ls608 subs,making a total of 8
or
2. Sell the 4 ls608's and buy 4 ls1208's

In terms of only SPL,which rig would provide the most volume: 4xls1208 or 8xls608?I realize that the 1208's do go lower,but that is not essential and only a bonus.In terms of transport,we are able to easily cater to either rig.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!

4 LS1208's is probably more convenient and total cost will be less.  Less cabling, more power efficient, and the fact that they go considerably lower will make them feel a lot more impressive....

However if you want to get fancy with sub placement 8 608's gives you flexibility for some sub array steering techniques etc which may or may not be within the scope of your typical shows.  Worth considering....
