I need to repair a JBL 418sp,amp and speaker recone. Any service on the east coast?

sorry, I have no idea-- but I've been using one of those hard for 8 years.  Its a real work-horse.

from what I know, its a crown ce2000 essentially in it.

I've always wanted to tear it apart, throw a 718 driver in there, and hard-wire it to bridge-mono.. but thats really an after though.

(invert the input to the second channel and wire the speaker accross the positive terminals.)  I just don't have the guts to make such a change on the thing-- too afraid something might go wrong (what if the input is already inverted on that channel?-- i guess it would be easy enough to test and find out with a volt meter and a small power supply.
