I've had both. Can't hardly beat the EWI cases and the people at Audiopile. Plus the price is pretty good.

I always had trouble with the wheel locks on my RR cases.

Some random pictures.

Ignore some of the labels - as this stuff gets reconfigured all of the time.

Top is an 8 way EQ for monitors

Middle is a simple 4 circuit bi-amp monitor amp rig.

Bottom is a small rig (all in one mix wiz). The extra cables are comps /FX and gate inserts which I do not patch on the panels.

Panels are random from Audiopile, Parts Express or Penn. I mostly rivet now.

Why do you use rivets now? Just no chance of them backing out?

Rivets are fast and very secure.

If I need to pull something out it's just as quick for me to drill out as it is to unscrew and capture the nut and the lock washer.
