Has anyone used this?

http://www.sillanumsoft.org/

It's a free osciloscope and waveform generator.

I was recommended it the other week and downloaded it, it seems to be quite good, I haven't had a chance to try it in anger yet, I'm just using it to make funny waves and play with phasing effects.

It seems a lot cheaper than buying a hardware scope

Depends on what you are looking to do with it.  I would be a little concerned about hooking it up to a 600V tube amp Shocked

But maybe with the proper interface it could be fine.  But the interface will cost you some money.

The accuracy of your external interface could come into question-if you need that.

And so forth.

I've toyed around a bit with this program, but haven't REALLY used it yet.  It looks pretty good though, especially for the price!
