Sennheiser ME4
« on: January 12, 2009, 03:10:37 pm »

I'm replacing my set of Sony wireless mics in the 700MHz range and am considering using Sennheiser body packs with the ME4 cardioid lavs. I've used Shure Cardioid lavs before and liked them, and was wondering if the ME4's were comparable.  This is for an University giving lectures with minimal help placing mics. Most of the threads I've seen concerning the ME4 were theatrical use. Here I'm just looking for added GBF. Thanks for your help.

Matt,
I've used the ME4's and I am not a fan.  I just can't get them to sound decent (this is in fairly well behaved rooms)

I do like the ME104 very much, however it costs a bit more....
