The best place to get new tracks is a service called Promo Only.

http://www.promoonly.com/

I use Promo Only and ITunes for the majority of my music.

I'm so old, when I was doing FOH for Tommy Dorsey, to balance out the horn section I would slide their chairs downstage and upstage to mix!

+1 for promo only if your looking for top 40 or more mainstream catalog, you'll get most of the top hits before or as they break on the charts

Is top hits USA still around?

Looking at retiring. Local PA market has shrank to 2 guys with guitars and bose l1 compacts or expecting full line array and 16 movers on stage for $300... no middle left going back to event DJ stuff, half the work for twice the pay.

If you're a legit working DJ, you should join a record pool - nowadays they are all online (meaning mp3) vs sending you boxes of vinyl or CDs, but the concept is almost the same.

There are a LOT of illegit pools out there, but there are some solid legit ones too (meaning they are actually serviced by the labels) - idjpool.com is one of the best.

I pull my music from Napster most of the time, download or if needed quickly through stream. Never let me down yet!
