RCF art owners
Hi,

I would like to hear from experience how much louder are the 500 or 700 series vs the 300 series

For example if you have owned the art322 or the art312 and now own the art522/512 or art722/712

Can you tell me how much louder are the new series vs the old series

I want to get the x22 series but not sure which one

Thanks for your help

I want 12 inch speakers to go with my art905as subs

I am torn between the 322, 522 or 722 ( or even 4 art312 because they are very cheap now)

Looking for someone who has compared the 300 series to either the 500 or the 700

Thanks,

Pretty easy to look at the spec sheets and see that the 322a is rated at a maximum output of 128dB and the 522a and 722a at a maximum output of 130dB.  What the actual loudness is any any specific application is going to be very depenedent on the music, the rest of the system, any processing applied, etc.  For reference, maximum output of your sub is rated at 131dB.

Thanks, I have looked at it, but I would like hands on experience, some companies hype their outputs to sell the newer models and the older ones are just as good but cheaper

have and regularly use 310a, 322ai, considered 725

310 we use for speech reinforcement and easy (background) music playback
322ai we use for general music playback and can get plenty loud for 100 people, no subs as it is quite bass heavy. Could go outside, but not with live band.
725 was considered for outside use for a larger (500) audience (seated, playback only), coupled with subwoofers. i have seen it used for smaller live PA (venue was in the 250 range) and performed well.
